This is really just a reminder and not news at all.
Our MIMEDefang filter is constantly evolving, becoming better and better at stopping spam and other bad stuff, without stopping ham, while not requiring a too large (for us) amount of hardware resources.
If it was some time since you last checked the filter, it might have changed in significant (or not) ways.
